The PRACTIC-PLUS guides are 16 mm in diameter and, as is usual in RUBI manual cutters, they are made of solid, chrome-plated steel with anti-corrosion treatment.

The PRACTIC-PLUS is a double guide manual cutter to obtain a better visibility of the line of scoring and separation. These guides are fixed to the base of the slicer by means of injected aluminum supports. The die-cast aluminum provides great robustness that gives the manual cutter assembly greater solidity and resistance. The base of the cutter is made of deep-drawn sheet steel and a resin-based paint coating that increases resistance to wear and, with a ribbed design to give it the necessary rigidity and always maintain a stable and flat work surface.
